Funny Business - ABC Soaps in Depth...
He may play a bad guy on TV, but anyone who knows Timothy D. Stickney will tell you he is the polar opposite of his alter ego. In fact, the actor has a lively sense of humor -- and that's why he relishes RJ's few-and-far between lighter moments. "I enjoy when I get to play farce," he explains. "It is one of my favorite things about playing a villain on a soap. One day I can be funny, the next I'm mad."

But is it difficult to find that delicate balance with such a bad seed? "Well, the hardest thing is to justify the farcical days because I try to base it in as much reality as I can so it's not ridiculous," he says. ""But doing any more comedy would be really hard because I'm the bad guy. I can make them laugh sometimes, but they've got to be afraid of me, don't they?"
