Desperately Seeking Somebody with Timothy D. Stickney

RJ Gannon: SBM seeks a woman who likes to live life on the edge. Just imagine running your hands through my dreads while giving me a reason to shape up and put my ex-con -- er, less reputable -- past behind me. I've got contacts all over town on both sides of the law, I own the hippest new club in Llanview and I'm the snazziest dresser this side of the Llantano River. How's about taking the plunge?

Soap Opera Digest: What do you think of RJ's taste in women?
Timothy: "He thinks all tribes have produced very beautiful women. I don't know if there's any particular type. She's got to think she's pretty hot, without that being all she's about, and that'll catch his attention. And she can't be too much of an angel. Well, I guess she could be. That might be interesting for a while."

Soap Opera Digest: What would be a good pickup line for RJ?
Timothy: "I can't do it, so he can't do it. It won't work. He has to put his cards on the table; you get what you see. You're not necessarily going to see everything, but he tries not to let one overflow into the other. He's probably a pretty good date, but I don't think there's a lot of gamesmanship going on. If you're interested, then he will try to show you a good time. If you're not -- you can always pay people to hang out with you. I don't think he does that."

Soap Opera Digest: What romantic advice would you give him?
Timothy: "Move. Commute. This pool has been tainted, man. There's no chance of anybody meeting him here. They think they know him before they even know what he looks like."

Soap Opera Digest: What is RJ's idea of a perfect date?
Timothy: "One that he didn't know when it started and didn't want to end. The structure thing always fails."

Soap Opera Digest: What is your idea of a perfect date?
Timothy: "Someone who had picked up enough about me that they could plan the time and I would enjoy it. That doesn't happen often. RJ is more structured and controlling than I am, so I'm sure he would enjoy -- as I do not -- having to decide. When you care, you say so. But there's a lot of stuff you don't particularly care to decide about as long as it ends up being fun."
