Celebrity blogs are HUGE right now. It's where fans go to see the the latest, most up-to-the-minute news about their favorite star(s), as well as their most recent pictures.

Some blogs are devoted to individuals (Like Keira Knightley, Jessica Simpson, Justin Timberlake....), some are devoted to shows (American Idol, Lost, Survivor...) and others have a wider range, dealing with all actors, actresses, singers, models, and athletes.

While a blog can more than stand on its own (like our Kelly Monaco Blog), a lot of people are beginning to add a blog to their already-existing websites. That's exactly what we did with our Jessica Simpson and Keira Knightley websites. The websites were, theselves, already up. But we designed what I think are pretty hot blogs to accompany the sites.

A bonus (one we're actually pretty wild about) is that having an active blog on your website increases traffic to your website. A blog acts as sort of a press agent for your website, going out into realms the website alone can't go. One day after putting the Jessica Simpson blog up (Just one day!), I got an e-mail from a guy who said he found the blog in a Blog Search Engine, and then went from the blog to our website. He said he'd never seen the website before (and he apparently searches out Jessica websites regularly) - but that he had bookmarked it now and would check it out daily. Gotta love blogs!

This is pretty much the reason why our three newest blogs are celebrity blogs.
